Zack Rosenburg co-founded SBP in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina. He plays a direct role in advising local and state government officials on the creation of long-term recovery programs. Rosenburg has been recognized as one of the 2018 Social Entrepreneurs of the Year by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, and he received the Manhattan Institute’s Social Innovation Award.
Rosenburg has been featured in Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Politico, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Before founding SBP, Rosenburg was an E. Barrett Prettyman Teaching Fellow at the Georgetown University Law Center and ran a criminal defense practice in Washington, D.C.
Rosenburg received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and law degree from the American University Washington College of Law. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Muhlenberg College and a distinguished alumnus award from Washington College of Law.
