Allison Tummon Kamphuis, the Global Program Leader for Gender Equality and Community Impact at Procter & Gamble (P&G), has been with P&G for more than 24 years. She manages P&G’s efforts to serve as a force for good in communities around the globe and coordinates gender equality activities across the company. Tummon Kamphuis joined P&G Pharmaceuticals in 1996, spending more than a decade in research and development and leading clinical operations for global cardiac clinical trials.
Through its brands, corporate voice and people, P&G is leveraging insights to uncover gender bias and take action to spark conversations and motivate change. P&G partners with a diverse network of more than 200 public, private and non-governmental organizations around the globe.
Tummon Kamphuis is a current member of the IOC Women in Sport Commission, Save the Children’s Corporate Council and Global Citizen’s Women & Girls Advisory Board. She is a frequent speaker on public-private partnerships, gender equality, community impact and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene).
Tummon Kamphuis earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and an MBA from Xavier University. She lives in Liberty Township, Ohio, with her husband and two teenage daughters.
