Aleia Taylor is a marketing and partnership strategist with two decades of experience in strategic philanthropy, corporate partnerships, cause marketing, brand communications and events. As a nonprofit leader, Taylor has helped raise more than $40 million in transformational revenue and designed nonprofit partnership activations for global consumer brands and media, including Athleta, Chevrolet, Delta Air Lines, ESPN and espnW, Gatorade, Morgan Stanley, NBC Sports Group, Nike, Procter & Gamble, Visa and The Walt Disney Company.
As CMO and Chief Strategist at Social Capital, Taylor supports top causes such as Feeding America, National 4-H Council, PanCAN, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation, the V Foundation for Cancer Research and Welcome.US. Taylor also heads Social Capital’s commitment to growing and supporting Social Capital Community—the thought leaders from top causes, as well as corporate and foundation partners, pushing boundaries for greater social impact.
Before joining Social Capital, Taylor was the chief marketing officer for the Women’s Sports Foundation, a leading voice on gender and racial equity in sports. Taylor was the driving force behind the Foundation’s largest rebrand in history, helping innovate its digital, communications and e-commerce strategies and relaunching the brand through a social influencer network of 100 million. In addition to her extensive marketing experience, Taylor has built PR and events teams and contributed to the development of advocacy, research and grant programs designed to address the social, economic and health inequities faced by BIPOC communities.
Taylor is dedicated to causes that promote diversity and equality. She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Rising Media Stars, a nonprofit committed to the career advancement of women of color in broadcasting. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University.
